“Cordero” follows Agnes’s first moments of womanhood and the uneasiness that follows, the visual piece focuses on the feeling of being perceived and how it intensifies as one comes of age. The tension between innocence and weariness, beauty and danger, girlhood and horror. And how the illusion of nativity is broken as a girl becomes a woman, and the world around her turns into a frightful place as Agnes’s innocent perception of life is lost.
